The first day of practice was held in wet conditions and with
sunny weather forecast for the rest of the weekend there was no need
to run in the wet on Friday.
The weather forecast was correct and practice was in hot and dry
conditions on Saturday.
As Alex didn't have a chance to test with the team prior to the
event he spent most of the Saturday morning session getting used to
the car and team.
In full race trim on Sunday morning he showed that he would be
competitive in the race as his time was only .1 seconds slower than
his qualifying time.
