Report from the Texeco/Havoline Grand Prix of Houston Qualifying Session

The gearbox problems that hindered Max and the Arciero-Blair team continued into Saturday's qualifying session, hampering Max's efforts in his quest for a good starting position on the bumpy circuit.

There was significant improvement in Max's quickest time though, as he knocked nearly two seconds off his best practice time.

He qualified his Driving 101 Ford Lola 26th, with a best lap of 62.919 seconds.
