All of the drivers in the CART
FedEx Championship Series agree that the MidOhio Sports Car Course
is the most demanding circuit on the schedule.
It's fast, bumpy, goes uphill and down and it's imperative that
the car set up for qualifying be virtually perfect. Without the
opportunity to test at the circuit prior to the event, finding the
set up is a difficult task.
Max and the Driving 101 Arciero Blair Racing team found out just
how difficult that task was.
"Qualifying was tough," said Wilson. "We struggled.
We have not tested here. We did not find the set up. Brian (engineer
Brian Maw) and the team and I will work tonight on finding the set
up."
Max qualified his Lola Ford in the 24th spot.
