Brazilian driver Max Wilson and his Arciero-Blair Racing Team
debuted in the FedEx Championship this Friday at the new Mexican
track in Monterrey Mexico.
"At the beginning of the session the track was very dirty
and the car was ok. We were able to do some good lap times and then,
I don't know what happened with the car but it developed a lot of
oversteer. I stopped for a while in order to allow the team to check
the car. Later I went to the track again, but the problem was still
there. Hopefully, we can solve this problem today and for tomorrow
we can start over again," said Max Wilson.
Max was 31st in the times with a best lap of 1'25.751 at an
average speed of 88.330 Mph. and he is the only driver in the field
using a Phoenix/Lola/Firestone package.
