Racing Announces New Powerplant.
INDIANAPOLIS
(May 15, 2001) Arciero-Blair Racing announced today that it
would not field an entry in the upcoming Firestone Firehawk 500 at
the Twin Ring in Motegi, Japan.
The team is
making powerplant changes for its number 25 Winner B2B Lola. The
Indianapolis based team will return to CART racing with Ford power
on June 3, the Miller Lite 225 on the Milwaukee Mile in West Allis,
Wis. The driver will continue to be Brazilian driver Max Wilson.
"Ford is
pleased to have Blair Racing on board as part of the Ford/Cosworth
team, and we look forward to a competitive remainder of the season
with the Cosworth XF engine powering them to the front of the
grid," said Greg Specht, Ford Racing Manager of North American
Operations.
