GATEWAY INDY 250 INFORMATION

All the information you need to stay on top of the Gateway Indy 250

With just three races left in the season and a tight points race, this weekend's Gateway Indy 250 in Madison, Illinois, will play a key role in determining the champion. Alex Barron and the Rayovac Blair Racing team are fifth in the points and have a statistical chance to win. The mile-and-a-quarter Gateway International Raceway is no stranger to Alex Barron, who's raced on the track before.

Alex says, "Both sides of the track are very different from each other. The wind and the weather can change the car dramatically. It will be one of the more intense races we will run this year. It will require a strong focus. The track there demands a high level of mental and physical concentration - more than some of the other tracks. The pit lane is also difficult because it is narrow and that can present other problems. We tested there recently and that will help dramatically. I also have raced there on three different occasions. It will be nice knowing that we have had a lot of advance preparation. This will help going into a two day event where you have less time to work on your setup."

Below you'll find the entire media schedule for watching the race, Alex Barron and the Rayovac Blair Racing team.
